      Description

      In English

The island of Bali is one of the thousands of islands that belong to Indonesia, an island which is very well known for its culture, customs, traditions which are strongly adhered to and trusted by the Balinese people and is where the majority of the people who are Hindus live.

Data from the Ministry of Religion noted that 86.91% of the people of Bali province adhere to Hinduism. Other religions are Islam (10.05%), Protestant Christianity (1.56%), Catholic (0.79%), Buddhism (0.68%), Confucianism (0.01%), and Beliefs (less than 0 .01%). Even though there are various and different beliefs, religious harmony in Bali occurs because mutual respect and respect between religious adherents, especially Muslims and Hindus in Bali, has existed since the royal era. Muslims as a minority respect the majority Hindus. Hindus also respect Muslims. Likewise, people of other religions respect one another. In addition, harmony can be maintained in Bali thanks to the implementation of the "Masuka-Duaan" life practice. In addition, because it is still high moral awareness between individuals to interact with dignity through spaces

dialogue between religious leaders, and the strict application of local wisdom values, namely "Masuka-grief". Ups and downs between adherents of other religions need to be done, such as wishing happy holidays, Madelokan (invitation), Ngejot (giving), Mapitulung (helping the success of the event/ceremony), mutual cooperation, etc. This is a tradition passed down from generation to generation in Bali to strengthen the sense of kinship between religious communities.

Suka duka antar pemeluk agama lain perlu dilakukan, seperti mengucapkan selamat hari raya, Madelokan (kondangan), Ngejot ( memberi), Mapitulung ( membantu menyukseskan acara/upacara), Gotong royong, dll.
