          Abstract


          In English

          This article analyses the phenomena of language related to the prescription of beauty from Balinese Traditional Ma­nuscript (Lontar) entitled Lontar Indrani Sastra (Indrani Sastra Manuscript). The beauty of recipe in the Lontar Indrani Sastra is an ancestry cultural inheritance which has been already merged with the lives of the Balinese. Bali is famous because has conserved traditional manuscripts that become cultural heritage of the island. This article does not only apply the method of library research and field research but also descriptive qualitative method. The theory that is used to analyze the data is the theory of language functions. The function of beauty ecolexicon in the Lontar Indrani Sastracan be divided into three functions, namely (1) informative function, (2) interactive function, and (3) imaginative function. The informative function relates to various information about beauty prescription plants, body parts that can be treated and methods of treatment. Interactive functions are found through dialogue between Dewi Saci and Rukmini. Similarly, imaginative functions are discovered through the use of metaphors such as crocodile’s calla (panggal buaya) and the Arjuna ecolexicons.

Bali manados katloktah seantukan makeh pisan madue sasuratan sasuratan kune sane marupa tatamian budaya dwipa puniki.Panyuratan puniki ngawigunayang metode kapustakaan lan karya ring wawidangan taler kasarengin antuk metode deskriptif kualitatif.Teori sane kawigunayang ritepengan mitelebin data inggihan marupa teori pikenoh basa.Pikenoh ekoleksikan ngeninin kajegegan sane munggah ring lontar Indrani Sastra kangkat kawilah dados tatiga, inggih punika 1 pikenoh informatif, 2 pikenoh interaktif, 3 pikenoh imajinatif. Pikenoh informatif mapaiketan ring makudang informasi ngeninin tatanduran raramon kajegegan, nganinin sajeroning angga sane kangkat katambanin lan tata cara nambanin.Pikenoh interaktif kapanggih ring pabligbag Dewi Saci kalawan Rukmini.Sapunika taler pikenoh imajinatif kakeniang majalaran sapamarigunayan metafora ekoleksikon panggal buaya lan ekoleksikon Arjuna.

          Artikel ini menganalisis fenomena kebahasaan yang berkaitan dengan resep kecantikan yang bersumber dari naskah LontarIndrani Sastra. Resep kecantikan dalam lontar Indrani Sastramerupakan warisan budaya leluhur dan telah menyatu dengan kehidupan masyarakat Bali. Bali menjadi terkenal karena telah banyak menyimpan naskah­naskah kuna yang merupakan warisan budaya pulau ini. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan dan kerja lapangan, dan menerapkan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data adalah teori fungsi bahasa. Fungsi ekoleksikon tentang kecantikan yang terkandung dalam lontar Indrani Sastradapat dipilah menjadi tiga yaitu (1) fungsi informatif, (2) fungsi interaktif, dan (3) fungsi imajinatif. Fungsi informatif berkaitan dengan berbagai informasi mengenai tanaman resep kecantikan, bagian tubuh yang dapat diobati, dan cara-cara pengobatan. Fungsi interaktif ditemukan melalui dialog antara Dewi Saci dengan Rukmini. Demikian pula fungsi imajinatif ditemukan melalui penggunaan metafora ekoleksikon panggal buaya (panggal buaya), dan ekoleksikon Arjuna.
