        Abstract


        In English

        This paper aims to analyze the perception of Hindu society on the existence of formal

        Pasraman (Hindu style of education) in Bali. The research method used is namely the type of qualitative research. This research of descriptive data with primary and secondary data sources and the technique of determining informants using purposive sampling techniques. Methods of data collection using observation techniques, interviews,

        literature studies, and documentation, as well as using data analysis techniques and presentation techniques of data analysis results. The results showed that first, the background of the establishment of a formal pasraman include juridical background, religious, and needs. Second, the learning method uses is catur pramana learning method. Third, the perception of Hindu society on the existence of formal pasraman is still low due to a lack of understanding as a whole, therefore it is necessary to socialize the existence of formal pasraman.

        Sasukat metu Peraturan Menteri Agama Republik Indonesia Nomor ; 56 Tahun 2014,Tentang Pendidikan Keagamaan Hindu,embas raris makudang pasraman pengajah ajah formal sane kadasarin antuk sastra Hindu ring Bali.Kawentenan pasraman inucap kasanggra sekadi becik olih prajanane,nanging durung gumanti makeh pisan sane meled maplajahang pianak ipune ring pasraman. Sasuratan puniki mapitatasin panampen prajana hindune mantuka ring pasraman ring Bali.Panyuratan ngawigunayang tata cara kualitatif majalaran antuk teknik ngapupulang data riantuk observasi,saur pitaken,studi pustaka lan dokumentasi.Data raris kapitelebin antuk teori persepsi.Pikolih panyuratan mitatasang inggihan kapertame, maka dasar ngawangun pasraman formal wenten tatiga minakadin ipun dasar wet,agama lan kaperluannyane.Kaping kalih,metode pangajah ajah ngawigunayang metode paplajahan Catur Pramana.Kaping tiga panampen prajana hindune ngeninin kawentenan pasraman formal kantun andap seantukan kakirangan pangresep ipune.Antuk punika kapisaratang pidarta nyobyahang kawentenan pasraman formal inucap.

        Setelah ke luar Peraturan Menteri Agama Republik Indonesia Nomor 56 Tahun 2014 tentang Pendidikan Keagamaan Hindu muncul beberapa pasraman, pendidikan formal berbasis ajaran Hindu di Bali. Kehadiran pasraman ini disambut baik oleh masyarakat, namun belum banyak yang tertarik menyekolahkan anaknya di sana. Artikel ini menganalisis respons masyarakat Hindu terhadap keberadaan pasraman di Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan teori persepsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, latar belakang pendirian pasraman formal ada tiga yaitu latar belakang yuridis, agama, dan kebutuhan. Kedua, metode pembelajaran menggunakan metode belajar catur pramana. Ketiga, persepsi masyarakat Hindu terhadap keberadaan pasraman formal masih rendah karena kurang paham secara menyeluruh, oleh karena itu diperlukan sosialisasi atas keberadaan pasraman formal.
