        Abstract


        In English

        Recent development of marine tourism in Penuktukan Village, Sub district Tejakula of the Buleleng Regency in Bali has been contributedto the coral reef ecosystem. The aimof the research was to determines the coral reefs coverage, coral reef and fishes diversity inPenuktukan Villages, Sub district Tejakula of the Buleleng Regency. Result of the research confirmsthat coral reef coverage in Penuktukanwas variedfrom 53 to 56%, indicates human impact to coral reefs ecosystems. The coverage level can be influenced by tourist activities.Based on the observation it is clear that Coral Foliose types weredominant.Diversity index (H’) of coral reefs ranging from 1.754 to 1.814; while the evenness index (E) was ranging from 0.8435 to 0.9468. The coral reefs diversity is able to support underwater marine tourist program, but tourism behavior should be managed to protect coral reef biodiversity. Theobserved fish was less than 25 individual.These fishes taxonomically belong to Serranidae, Lutjanidae, Letherinidae, Caesionidae, Scaridae, Haemulidaeand Chaetonodae.It was lower compared to the standard for population in healthy water. The implementation of marine-based tourism in Penuktukan Village should be controlled through visitor management and coral reef ecosystem conservation

        Tatujon panyuratan puniki tan sios mangda kauningin kawentenan terumbu karang, luir ipun makudang carca terumbu karang taler ngeninin sekancan mina sane wenten ring segara Desa Penuktukan,Kecamatan Tejakula, Kabupaten Buleleng. Pikolih panyuratan mitatasang inggihan wawidangan terumbu karang ring segara Penuktukan sawatara wantah 53 rauhing 56 persen, pinaka bukti wenten puara kaon olih i manusa mantuka ring terumbu karang inucap.Jimbar wawidangan terumbu karang wenten paiketannyane ring panglaksanan wisata segara. Manut pamitatas kauningin inggihan coral foliose sane gumanti pinih katah.Indeks keanekaragaman H terumbu karang mawilang 1754 rauhing 1814,inggihan Indeks kemerataan E mawilang 0,8435 rauhing 0,9468.

        Perkembangan wisata bahari yang berkembang belakangan ini di Desa Penuktukan, Kecamatan Tejakula, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali, telah memberikan kontribusi terhadap ekosistem terumbu karang. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui tutupan terumbu karang, keanekaragaman terumbu karang dan ikan di Desa Penuktukan Kecamatan Tejakula Kabupaten Buleleng. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tutupan terumbu karang di Penuktukan bervariasi antara 53 hingga 56%, yang menunjukkan adanya dampak manusia terhadap ekosistem terumbu karang. Tingkat cakupan dapat dipengaruhi oleh aktivitas wisata. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan terlihat bahwa jenis Coral Foliose lebih dominan. Indeks keanekaragaman (H') terumbu karang berkisar antara 1.754 sampai dengan 1.814; sedangkan indeks kemerataan (E) berkisar antara 0,8435 sampai dengan 0,9468. Keanekaragaman terumbu karang mampu mendukung program wisata bahari bawah laut, namun perilaku wisata harus dikelola untuk menjaga keanekaragaman hayati terumbu karang. Jumlah ikan yang diamati kurang dari 25 ekor. Ikan-ikan tersebut secara taksonomi termasuk dalam kelompok Serranidae, Lutjanidae, Letherinidae, Caesionidae, Scaridae, Haemulidae dan Chaetonodae, lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan baku mutu populasi di perairan sehat. Penyelenggaraan wisata bahari di Desa Penuktukan sebaiknya dikendalikan melalui pengelolaan pengunjung dan konservasi ekosistem terumbu karang.
