In English

The location of Perancak Temple is in Perancak Village, Negara District. When Danghyang Nirartha crossed the Bali Strait by boat from a pumpkin, and landed on the beach which is now known as Perancak. While waiting for the arrival of his wife and seven sons, Nirartha took shelter under an ancak tree. That's where until now the Pura Purancak stands.

Pura Purancak magenah ring Desa Perancak, Kecamatan Negara. Ri kala Danghyang Nirartha ngentasin Segara Rupek masrana antuk waluh kele, ida rauh ring pasisi sane mangkin kabaos Perancak. Rikala nyantosang rabin ida sareng pepitu okan ida sane jagi rauh, Danghyang Nirartha ngetis ring taru ancak. Ring genah punika kantos mangkin wenten pura sane kabaos Pura Purancak.

Lokasi Pura Purancak terletak di Desa Perancak Kecamatan Negara. Ketika Danghyang Nirartha melintasi Selat Bali dengan perahu dari labu, dan mendarat di pantai yang sekarang dikenal dengan nama Perancak. Saat menanti kedatangan istri dan tujuh putranya, Nirartha berteduh di bawah pohon ancak. Di situlah sampai sekarang berdiri Pura Purancak.
