(proverb) A gourd often has a lot of flowers on the bottom. Means that flowers should be put behind the ear or on the head, but never on the jit (bottom). Gourds do, indeed, have flowers on the bottom, and so this is like a person bragging or exaggerating – putting something where it does not belong.
