Sentences Example
Balinese
Buka bikule pisuhin.
English
[proverb] The Balinese believe that, if someone gets mad at a mouse because it damages the house, the mouse understands, and he therefore destroys thing faster. Ngerusuh = steal. Parents use this expression when a parent says bad things to a child because the child is disobedient. It is OK to tell a child he is wrong two or three times. But, usually, if one says this more than a couple of times, the child deliberately does even worse things than that which he is being criticized for.
