  • top side of leaf, shiny surface of leaf, outside of bamboo culm, with green or yellow surface which is harder and stronger than basang, or inside part
  • top of banana or coconut leaf that is oriented toward the outside of a plate or an offering or a container because it is more alus and nicer looking that the bottom side, or basang. People who make offerings, baskets, and other containers from leaves or bamboo are always careful to have the tundu on the outside
