              Desa Kapal terletak di Kecamatan Mengwi di bagian tengah Kabupaten Badung yang dilintasi jalur jalan utama Denpasar - Tabanan. Desa Kapal merupakan desa yang banyak terdapat kerajinan terutama kerajinan yang terkait dengan pembangunan tempat ibadah maupun rumah tradisional, serta peralatan upacara Agama Hindu. Selain itu Desa Kapal memiliki Pura Kahyangan Jagat yang terkenal di Desa Kapal, Mengwi, Badung adalah Pura Sada. Terletak di daerah pemukiman di Banjar Pemebetan Desa Kapal, Mengwi, Badung.
