It is one of the favorite non-beach tourist destinations in Bali, nowadays. The sculpture existence of Visnu Lord riding on Garuda in GWK cultural park becomes the mangnet of tourist from foreign countries. This sculpture is created with almost 3000 ton of copper by Balinese artist, I Nyoman Nuarta with total funding about 450 million IDR. The idea of this construction has been since 1989, but the first stone layed since 1997 in Ungasan Village by I Nyoman Nuarta and Joob Ave, the minister of tourism, post and telecommunications at that time. Technically, The sculpture has been finished in August 1st 2018, but still on finishing process, since the model made by 754 bronze copper plates fused. Finally, the sculpture is perfectly done in August 4 2018.
