              Description

              In English

At first glance, this traditional Buleleng snack looks like Jadah or glutinous rice in general. However, what sets them apart is that Jaje Uli is served in a thin and flat form that is dry, not wet like jadah although some make it wet. Usually, this food is used as a complementary dish that must be present at certain religious ceremonies. Jaje Uli is made from glutinous rice dough or rice flour that is pounded until the texture turns smooth.
