Description(s)
Hinduism in Bali cannot be said to be exactly the same as Hinduism in general in other places. There are differences in the practice of rituals and groups of brahmin priests. The two schools of priests are Padanda Bauddha and Padanda Shiva. The activities of these two sects of priests are carefully observed through the movements of the hands (mudra) and the type of mantra used. In addition, the different mantra texts are also carefully recorded and given meaning.
