Biography

Catharina Widjaja is Executive Vice President at PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk, the largest integrated tire manufacturing company in South East Asia. She is also Director at Alun Alun Indonesia, (www.alunalunindonesia.com) an Indonesian retail concept which promotes Indonesian products and artisans, under the retail group of MAP.

Prior to joining the group, she worked for various multinational companies including HSBC Indonesia and Deutsche Bank Indonesia. The mother of three received a Master of Science degree in Control Engineering from the University of Bradford and Graduated in Mathematics and its Applications from Sheffield Polytechnic, and she holds an HND in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Studies from Leeds Polytechnic, UK. She also did her “O” levels and “A” levels in UK.

Cath serves on the Board of BASAbali and also donates time to helping vaccinate people in Java and Bali.
