                        Description(s)

This book contains an anthology of thoughts on Balinese culture that have been published in newspapers, scientific journals, papers for matriculation activities, scientific orations, academic seminars, as well as national and international seminars. Performing arts such as percussion and dance are the main focus of the writings contained in this book. One of the interesting ideas in this book is contained in an article entitled "The Art of Music in the Context of Tourism." In this article, it is stated that the art of music can be used as a means of connecting or a means of communication between nations in a more harmonious direction. Meanwhile, the impact of tourism on the performing arts has succeeded in disproving several assumptions about the tourism industry having a negative impact and even damaging the arts. In fact, the tourism industry actually enriches the music or performing arts in Bali in particular and in Indonesia in general.
