The Balinese language has a number of proverbs (paribasa) based on different points of view. However, paribasa species such as bladbadan, cecimpedan, cecangkitan, and wewangsalan are always identified. This proves that the four paribasas are steady and popular in the community. For this reason, the focus of the study in this book is on the four paribasas. However, the study of the four paribasas needs to be done from the perspective of linguistic theory so that their existence still exists.
