                Tipat Blayag is a food like ketupat but wrapped in elongated coconut leaves. Tipat Blayag is perfect for enjoying with vegetables that have a thick gravy such as chicken with gravy, chicken plalah and several other types of soupy foods. But not infrequently you can find this food served with urap, skin chips and even satay. This food is able to make you full and feel satisfied with its delicious and distinctive taste. The making of Tipat Blayag is the same as ketupat in general, the difference is the shape and the tools used when cooking it. To make this dish more delicious and fragrant, it is usually cooked using a wood-fired stove. The use of firewood can give a more fragrant aroma to Tipat Blayag.

Namun tidak jarang Anda bisa menemui kuliner ini disajikan dengan urap, keripik kulit bahkan sate. Makanan ini mampu membuat Anda kenyang dan merasa puas dengan rasanya yang enak dan khas. Pembuatan Tipat Blayag sama seperti ketupat pada umumnya, yang membedakannya adalah bentuk serta alat yang digunakan saat memasaknya. Agar hidangan ini lebih enak dan harum, biasanya dimasak menggunakan tungku kayu bakar. Penggunaan kayu bakar dapat memberikan aroma lebih wangi pada Tipat Blayag.
