Why does the innovation or project matter?
The increase in the amount of waste that pollutes Bali's environment, which was once purely urgent, requires a comprehensive solution. Public campaigns without a good waste collection system frustrate and demotivate the public because it is not supported, and a waste collection system without a good waste management that is environmentally friendly will not help our nature. This is why the Gianyar Waste Recovery Project prioritizes waste processing. The initial objective of this project was to conduct research and develop waste management solutions that are environmentally friendly, safe and economical.

The community takes an active role in sorting waste and products from the Temesi Foundation can be distributed to the community

Garbage can be managed properly and does not accumulate in the landfill.
What else would help the innovation or project be more successful?
Sorting waste from the source.

It can be sustainable. The activities so far have gone well and are sustainable considering the amount of waste that is still very large.

Tri hita karana by protecting the environment (palemahan) as a harmonious relationship between humans and the environment.
