The development of Modern Balinese literature from its birth to its development in the 2000s has been discussed in this book. In 1910, short stories in Balinese written by school teachers published by the Dutch colonial were born to complement the shortage of textbooks at the elementary school level in Bali. These short stories can be used as a milestone in the early birth of Balinese literature. This book also contains these short stories which are accompanied by their translation in Indonesian.
