Overtourism in Bali is a complex issue and has a significant impact on the environment, culture, and local communities. Tourism, the backbone of the main economy, causes traffic jams, and damage to cultural sites. Local people also lost space and cultural identity due to excessive commercialisation. The solution that needs to be implemented is to limit the number of tourists, implement environmental taxes, and provide education to tourists to respect Bali's customs and culture. The government also needs to empower local people so they get fair benefits from tourism, without damaging cultural and environmental heritage which is the main attraction of Bali.
