Developing Schools with Widyalaya Status
Bali should take the lead in establishing schools with WIDYALAYA status, as supported by the Minister of Religious Affairs Regulation No. 2 of 2024. We're encouraging the Bali provincial government, governors, regents, mayors, and local councils across the island to create local regulations and support the sustainability of Hindu WIDYALAYA schools. This includes giving teachers opportunities for civil servant contracts (P3K) where possible, providing student scholarships (PIP), BOS funding, and other necessary facilities. Most importantly, it’s about building strong Hindu human capital to preserve our cultural heritage.
