Dedungkian

  • small basket usually woven of bamboo, worn in back of waist at the small of the back
  • used for storing small fish when fishing with jala
  • larger sizes of the same shape that are used for carrying large quantities of fish from jukung or for carrying nets are called dungki, not dedungkian
  • construction is similar to that of dungki.
