This book invites readers to experience the situation and conditions during the Puputan War. The fighters in Bali, especially in Marga Village, fought hard to repel the Dutch troops who returned after Japan's defeat in World War II to regain control of Indonesia. The war that resulted in the deaths of I Gusti Ngurah Rai and his troops was later remembered as the Puputan Margarana War and resulted in the Dutch succeeding in establishing the State of East Indonesia.
