The Balinese language is the regional identity of the Balinese and the pride of the Balinese. The existence of the Balinese language fills all spaces of Balinese life, one of which is in religious rituals, especially death. Various aspects of the Balinese language in the mantra, and saa are observed through the lens of the ceremonial discourse of death. The structure, function, and meaning of language, literature, and ceremonial characters of death are trying to be explored in such a way.
