Ika has over15-year experience in coordinating development cooperation projects for several international institutions and aid agencies. She successfully managed over 30 human rights, environmental, democracy and development projects across Indonesia, and the Southeast Asia region, totaling 12.5 million dollars.
Ika is the chairperson of Banjar Bali USA, the Balinese community in Washington, DC, and surrounding areas. Before she moved to the US in 2011, Ika worked as a development specialist on democracy and human rights projects with institutions.
