Makare-kare

makare-kare

  • Also known as Pandan War, this ritual was created to honor the god of war, Indra. The Pandan War ritual is over 1,000 years old, and only found in Bali Aga villages. It is a male pre-courtship ritual, where men and boys hope to impress a future bride.
